Bo Bunny Secret Garden 2 Pager ~ FotoBella DT

The gorgeous new Bo Bunny Secret Garden I Want It All Bundle from FotoBella was everything and more than I needed, to make this 2 pager from some landscape photos of one of my favorite spots, right down the road from where I lived in Truckee, CA!

I was instantly inspired by this sketch for the March 2 Page Sketch Challenge @ Scrapbook, as it's been awhile since I've done a 2 pager!

Since the 12 X 12 Collection Pack comes with 2 sheets of each design, making it easy to create a 2 pager, I started with 2 of the "Vineyard" papers for my background. To mimic the field of flowers, I started by spraying the top border with green sprays. Then I added some sprays to some Prima Clear Gesso, and applied it with the Tim Holtz Dot Fade Stencil. From the "Corsage" paper I fussy-cut the flower clusters, and added 3 of them to my pages. To tie the 2 pagers together I cut the floral garland Chipboard, and placed it over 3 of my photos. I also brought the pages together with a strip of the purple ribbon that comes in the Ephemera

All of the titlework and banner with the date, was done with the stickers that come in the 12 X 12 Collection Pack. I added another piece of chipboard to the left of "Still", and under "Spring" I added the green and purple bracket from the Layered Chipboard, using the rose banner piece on the right side of the page.

The papers matting the photo, banner date, and "Spring" all come from the Ephemera, and along with all of the other papers were distressed along the edges and machine-stitched. To the banner with the date, I added a couple of Brads.

Happy Easter! ~ Red Rubber Designs DT

Happy Easter!! I wanted to share the whole card that I made featuring the Somebunny's Thinking stamp from Red Rubber Designs!

I started with a recycled piece of cardboard, that I sprayed with black, brown, and copper mists. Then for some texture I added Distress Embossing Powder (Vintage Photo) and Ranger Verdigris Embossing powder, which I also used for the grass on the tag using the Mountain Scenery stamp. After applying some white gesso dots to the tag, I colored it with Distress Inks, as well as  the cute bunnies, chipboard banner pieces, the lilac flowers, and to color the lace. The flowers were stamped with the Happily Grateful and Pressed Flowers stamps.

My design inspiration came from the March Cardmaps Challenge at Scrapbook.com using this Cardmaps sketch!

It's also my entry for the following challenges.

(cardboard), the color lilac, something metal (the tag bracket and brads on the flowers), and metal effect.

Lucky 2 Have U Card ~ FotoBella DT

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Sixteen years ago today my cousin dragged me out with him, and brought me and my husband together, so this Irish holiday really holds a special place in my heart! Of course I had to make him a card, and with all of the greens in Bo Bunny's new Secret Garden Ephemera  it was easy to do.

I tore a piece of the book page from the Ephemera with the green definition, and colored it with Distress Inks (Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron). Then I layered it over the papers that also come in the Ephemera, adding gold embossing powder to the edges, as well as the shamrock that I cut from green cardstock. I added Green Stickles to the shamrock and outlined it with black hand-stitching. For the sentiment I used Tim Holtz' Cargo Alphabet Stencil, masking LUCKY with Jet Black Archival Ink and Golden Rod Stickles. The rest was masked with Memento Cottage Ivy and Bo Bunny's Wasabi Glitter Paste. Then I finished it up with the gold sheer ribbon from my own stash, and the striped button from the Ephemera, that you can get @ FotoBella!

Thanks for looking, and have a wonderful and safe St. Patrick's Day!

Spring Bouquet Thank You Card ~ Red Rubber Designs DT

I'm back again with another Thank You card, this time featuring the Spring Bouquet stamp from Red Rubber Designs!

And it was a happy coincidence that my color palette just so happened to match this month's Color Challenge @ Lindy's Stamp Gang!

The colors are so light and soft, so it's kinda hard to tell, but I used four LSG sprays on the cream background (Cotton Candy Pink, Tiffany's Blue, Violaceous Violet, and Treasure Island Aqua). Then I used a paintbrush with the same color sprays for the background of my stamped image, using Sidewalk Chalk to color the vase. The flowers and wood grain were then colored with Distress Inks.  For the sentiment, I used the Savvy Sayings stamp, embossed with LSG Purely White Embossing Powder. The doily was sprayed with Cotton Candy Pink, and the edges were colored with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.

Then I punched and layered three of my papers for the Layer it Up Challenge @ Frilly and Funkie, adding even more layers with my stamped image and doily, which I stitched through with my sewing machine, along with the edges of the wood grain paper. To finish it off I added some dots of Liquid Pearls (Petal Pink) along the punching, and some fiber tied in a bow.

Thanks for looking, and enjoy your weekend!
